Our Immerse My City evangelism app pre-launched in March 2023, as our team helped lead nearly 500 SUM Bible college students in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex area in sharing the Gospel. 5,483 homes were visited and the students collectively walked 3,000 miles in sharing the Gospel (the distance from the East Coast to the West Coast of the continental USA). As we come to the turn of the New Year, about 30 churches/ministries beyond our Immerse teams who are now utilizing the Immerse My City app to map out areas of outreach and utilizing its features for follow up, bringing many into the Kingdom of God.
The heartbeat of the Immerse My City app is the fulfillment of the Great Commission by creating disciples, equipping believers to reach every home in their city. For far too long, evangelism efforts have stopped short at clamoring to create "converts", when Jesus Himself command led that disciples be made. We're overjoyed to see believers stepping up to the plate, forsaking "hit and run" evangelism techniques, and giving themselves over to creating relationship with those they are ministering to, leading them into discipleship. Our prayer is that the Immerse My City app will empower believers worldwide.
