One of the greatest movements we saw this year was the unity of believers within Hernando County, Florida. In March, our team was privileged to help organize City On A Hill, an event that saw 1200+ believers, 40 different churches and ministry teams, non-profits, municipal leaders, and more, come together as an expression of the Church the Father has longed to see lived out. The Body of Christ joined in oneness of heart in prayer, worship, and to see displaced children housed through families willing to fulfill James 1:27, where the Word says:
“Pure and faultless religion is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
Many Christian families opened their homes to fostering, adoption, hosting, and mentoring displaced children- the result of what happens when we pursue the Lord in one mind and one accord is that we become a people compelled by Christ's love!
